Flaties - Inflatable Cockpit Cushions
Flaties can change the cockpit cushion storage problems so many people have on board. They are made using open cell polyurethan foam core, bonded to the hardwearing top fabric and non-slip base material. When you open the valve of a deflated pad, the foam core automatically sucks air into the pad and expands it to its maximum size. This procedure takes only a few seconds and the flaty is ready to use. Depending upon individual preference the firmness of the flaty can be adjusted by adding or releasing air. To store, open the valve, squeeze out the air, close the valve to keep flaty compressed and place in the storage bag provided.
